Benji came to LCAL from Animal Friends of the Valleys. He had been surrendered there due to his owner’s illness. He is a one year old Heeler mix that is super friendly and cute! The shelter reported him as being a friendly and playful pup who loves belly rubs. The shelter also reported he was calm and well behaved within their environment. Since arriving at LCAL he has been enjoying exploring his new space. He’s a bit skittish on walks and will need some leash training, which the LCAL team will be working on with him. His previous owner reports that he is dog friendly. He is still settling in and we will update everyone as we get to know him more.
