Sweet little Brooke was brought to the AFV shelter by a Good Samaritan who found her as a stray.  She came in with a lot of chunks of her fur missing, and the veterinarians at the shelter diagnosed her as having a moderate case of demodex mange and ring worms.  They began treating her at the shelter while waiting for her family to claim her, but no one came.  She is approximately 7 months young, and she only weighs 5-6 lbs.  She has a very sweet disposition, loves everyone she meets!  We haven’t had her around other dogs yet due to her contagious skin condition, but she’s getting her medicated baths and treatments every few days while she awaits her forever home.  She’ll soon be brought to our vet for her full medical (vaccinations/spay/de-worm/microchip/etc.) and then ready for adoption!  Submit your online adoption application through our website in order to schedule a meet-and-greet.
