Magnus is a gorgeous fawn/white neutered male Boxer who came to us from the Bonita shelter as an unclaimed stray. He is approximately 2 -3 years young, and has a natural tail and ears. He is learning some basic obedience while in our care, and he’s doing great — loves everyone he meets. We tested him at the shelter with a female Pit Bull, and he did just fine. He was intact at the time we tested him, so he as a bit “forward” with her, and when she said “no thanks,” he listened and was quite the gentleman Boxer. Our daily dog-walking volunteers report that he walks beautifully on leash but say that he sees other dogs and goes a little nutty and becomes reactive. So we will get him into training to help him with those leash behaviors. He would do best in a home with a submissive and playful female and/or larger dog. He seems to be most reactive with little dogs. He is a big, solid Boxer boy — weighing in at approximately 70 lbs. Interested in meeting Magnus?
