Rivet is a 9 months young Chihuahua-mix (possibly Chiweenie) pup, looking for her forever home. She came into our care after being saved from the San Bernardino shelter when she and her mom and litter mates found themselves there and in danger of immediate euthanasia due to overcrowding issues there. We swooped up mom (Raven) and pups and brought them into the care of LCAL Rescue. They’ve been with us now for 9 months, and we can’t figure out why these cuties are still with us. Perhaps it’s due to the overabundance of Chihuahua breeds available in shelters and other rescues. Rivet has a very sweet disposition, good with dogs, kids, and loves everyone she meets.
