Oh, SHERMAN!  This adorable “curvy” guy came to us recently from AFV shelter in Wildomar after he was brought in as a stray, covered in stickers and his coat was way overgrown and matted.  He was given many funny nicknames while in the care of the shelter — from “Sausage” to “Jerry Garcia” to “Happy,” (’cause he’s just so happy), we ended up thinking he was like a little mini tank, so … he was renamed “Sherman the Tank” once he arrived at LCAL.  His age is estimated to be approximately 8 years young, and he needs to be put on a weight-control diet, hit the treadmill, and he’s ready to … roll (?!?!)  He is great with dogs and all the humans he’s met this week!  The groomers at the shelter said he was lovely and well behaved during his grooming too!  He’s approximately 30 lbs, but we are hoping to shed some of those pounds soon!  Interested in meeting Sherman?  Submit your adoption application from our website to schedule an appointment for a meet-and-greet!
