We are grateful for our fabulous partners that help keep our organization running smoothly.
The Donald and Carole Chaiken Foundation
We are so grateful for the incredible generosity of The Donald and Carole Chaiken Foundation. Without their kindness and support LCAL would struggle to accomplish our mission and serve the community of homeless dogs needing our help today.
Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital
Located in coastal Oceanside, this wonderful veterinary facility is where we take LCAL pups for their medical intake exam, spay or neuter and various continuing treatments while under our care. The entire staff is dedicated to ensuring our dogs, fosters and volunteers receive the very best care and customer service. We are beyond grateful for the services they provide for our rescue each year.
BMAC Photography
Michaela donates her time and talent to provide pet photography services for use in our social media, website and event ads. These beautiful photos help us get our adoptable animals noticed and ultimately adopted into forever homes! Be sure to follow her photography through Facebook or Instagram pages and subscribe to her email newsletters!
Evan Scheingross / Minimal Chaos
LCAL’s website designer is Evan Scheingross of Mininal Chaos based out of San Diego, California. Evan ensured we had a quality website that represented our brand well and kept us within an affordable budget for our nonprofit organization. Additionally, Evan continues to guide and advise us on how to optimize our website; he is quick to respond to our inquiries, very knowledgeable about Web design, and is always a consummate professional! We so appreciate his expertise and assistance!
Bob Cartin, DVM
Long ago, Dr. Cartin made a series of deals with our president, Lisa Hamilton, that each went like this: “If you find this animal a home, I will provide it with the veterinary care it needs to get healthy.” Lisa’s answer was always the same: “Heck yes!” Their combined effort to save one animal at a time snowballed into what later became Last Chance at Life.
Pam Chandler
Pam with Dog Sense Training generously invites LCAL’s dogs to her pack walks, free of charge, in an effort to help them with leash training and socialization with other dogs. Pam was a dedicated volunteer with LCAL for years before launching her dog training business, Dog Sense. Pam is amazingly talented and a special trainer who we cannot recommend enough.
Kelly Bagla
Kelly Bagla is a true animal lover! She is a longtime supporter of (and two-time adopter from) Last Chance at Life! Her law firm, Bagla Law Firm, has generously backed our rescue efforts. We are truly thankful for her support, which allows us to continue our mission of saving dogs.
