Athena is a sweet Boxer who is the perfect age as you get the characteristic Boxer love without the high energy! She may also be the only Boxer we know that does not snore! She is lucky to be with one of our foster families who describe her as extremely mellow and easy going. Athena came to LCAL as an owner surrender from Animal Friends of the Valley. Her previous owners reported that she is house trained and crate trained. They also reported that she is good with all dogs and has lived with both male and female dogs. It is reported that she has a strong prey drive and struggles around smaller animals such as squirrels, but this has not been seen yet at LCAL. We will continue to get to know Athena and update everyone as we learn more about her.
