Baxter is a handsome, sweet dog who is pretty insecure inside. He does well in his home environment with his people he knows,  but struggles in new situations and surroundings. Baxter gets very anxious when encountering people and animals on walks, although in controlled encounters has done well with other dogs. Baxter should be in a home setting where he has the ability to walk and explore without encountering surprise situations, people and animals.  This gorgeous guy needs someone willing to be patient, understanding of his anxieties and willing to spend the time and training to help him adjust to new situations and be his best dog self.
