Meet Bruno! Bruno came to LCAL as an owner surrender. Unfortunately this sweet boy has experienced three different homes in his short 10 months of life before coming to LCAL. He originally was the companion to a homeless man who then determined he could no longer care for him and gave him to someone who thought they could care for him. They then learned they were having a baby and could not continue to have him, so they gave him to another family. This family also learned they would be having a baby and brought Bruno to LCAL.

Bruno is a high energy puppy who is toy motivated and loves chasing a ball. He also loves throwing his toys in the air and chasing them; and loves a good belly scratch. He has shown us that he is smart and needs a companion who is committed to training him. Potential adopters need prior working breed experience. Bruno can be reactive to people if not provided with the space to determine if/when he wants to interact with others. He can be difficult to handle on leash and can become mouthy. Due to this, he should only be in a home with those 16 years and older.
