Chato came to us after finding himself in an LA shelter as an owner surrender. We couldn’t resist his beautiful face and sad eyes!

Chato seems like a sweet dog that any boxer fans will love. He does well on the leash but will need continued training. He also needs continued training to help him refocus on his handler when other dogs walk by.

Chato is said to have lived with kids including toddlers. He did well meeting and playing with a 20-pound female dog in our care, but may be dog selective. He will need appropriate introductions and boundaries with other dogs to ensure a good dynamic.
