Her Story:

Chloe is a sweet, loving girl. She rode great in the car with our volunteer on the way to the vet, and then was so well behaved when in line. If they stood in one spot for more than a few minutes, she laid down patiently. She is a great little dog with a lovely demeanor.

Chloe has lameness to her left front leg, and it will require either surgery or amputation. According to x-rays, she has a plate already in place from a previous fracture, and it looks like it has not healed correctly at all. We are still in conference with our veterinarians to determine the best course of action, and at what age (as she still has some growing to do), for her to undergo whichever surgery is better.

Chloe came into Ramona Humane Society (San Jacinto, CA) as a stray after being found between Ramona Express Way and Sanderson, in Hemet, CA. She was limping and was taken to the vet. Ramona needed a rescue to exit her and get her appropriate medical care, and LCAL stepped in.
