Doobie is a friendly, affectionate love bug who wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his humans at the end of the day. One look at his sweet face will send your heart soaring! He is good with children and does great with other dogs, large and small. He lives for adventure and will be the first to jump in your car to go for a ride! Even if it’s to the vet! In fact, the minute he walked into our vet clinic for his intake exam, he had the entire staff swooning over him. 

 

Doobie is a curious guy who sometimes pulls on leash, so he’ll need a strong handler to show him he and his nose are not in charge. He can also be a bit needy, so his future family will need to continue to work with him to establish boundaries. His foster family is working on crate training him and he’s doing much better! Because of his prey drive, we recommend he does not live with cats or birds. But if you’ve got another dog, chances are they’ll be instant BFFs.
