Fay

Breed: German Shepherd
Age: 5-6 years
Size: 65 lbs
Health: Spayed, recovering from hip surgery

Ideal Home: A family that enjoys morning and evening walks looking for a companion

Personality:

Fay was picked up by a stray and determined to need hip surgery. Last Chance at Life took her in and got her in for surgery on June 16, 2020. Fay is now healing and rehabilitating in her foster home. Her recovery is going well, and 4 weeks post-surgery she was up to 3 walks a day.

Fay won’t be able to go on runs, on long hikes, or on uneven terrain for too long, but she will be a great fit for a home looking for a lovely dog who enjoys companionable walks around the neighborhood or park.

Fay enjoys car rides and is a great passenger. She loves cuddling and playing with her toys. Overall she is a very sweet dog. Fay settled into her foster home nicely and quickly made friends with the neighbors.

Fay seems to do well with other large dogs. She was tested with a small dog and did well, mostly ignoring it. She seems to ignore cats as well.
