Personality:

Hobbit is a sweet little guy! He has a laid back personality and does great with other dogs. He likes to bolt past when doors are open at the shelter—he is a freedom seeker it seems! He will need a secure yard in his future home, and an owner who is willing and able to work with him on focus and threshold training.

Hobbit was found by a Good Samaritan and turned into the shelter on 1/4. He was found roaming the streets New Year’s Day. His stray hold expired and LCAL stepped in to bring him into our fold. Since being in the care of LCAL, Hobbit has had two skin masses removed. One was benign but the other was not, however, the excision was clean per the pathologist. The report stated that it could be a solitary finding but we should keep an eye on him in the event other lumps/bumps/masses appear.
