Lobo

Sex: Male
Breed: Aspin (Filipino street dog)
Age: 8 years old
Size: 25 lbs
Health: Good

Ideal Match: Someone looking for a loving companion

Personality:

This sweet, sweet guy is Lobo*. To say he’s full of life is almost an understatement. His heart is all love for virtually every human and dog he’s ever met. He loves to run, chase and play. He’s looking for best friends either canine or human. Curious about all of life, he’s learned quickly how to behave on leash so he can get out exploring as often as possible. He’s terribly handsome and oh so fluffy. He’s a gentle, soulful guy who makes an excellent companion. He’s crate-trained (loves it actually). And is nearly house broken.

We’ve learned he’s not likely to walk away from a pack mate challenging him to a marking contest. Once we checked the pack mate, problem solved. He’s been respectful of feathered foster kin so cats will almost certainly be fine. He loves having the ability to interact with outdoors often and would love a dog door/yard. Are you looking for the Best dog ever? Come meet Lobo.

*Lobo was previously named Blessing, but he’s been in foster with us about four months now and as he’s come into his own, “Wolf” in his native tongue of Tagalog seems a name that gives dignity to his beautiful markings, thoughtful eyes and gentle soul. He has a back story that could make you cry. But thanks to some wonderful volunteers he was rescued, sponsored and give a chance at a life. And if a dog ever deserved a loving family this is the guy.
