We pulled sweet ‘lil Lucy Lu with a group of 14 other dogs from the shelter in Imperial County in late December.  She was in a kennel with Dana Linn and two other German Shepherds, and her sweet, soulful eyes cried out to us to help her.  We pulled her and her kennel mate, Dana Linn, and brought them to our adoption center.  Lucy Lu was soon adopted, but not too long after her sleepover was in full force, the family had a medical emergency and had to bring her back, as they would not be able to care for her during their recovery period.  So … with open arms, she is back from her sleepover and now seeking a new forever home.  She is good with other dogs and loves to play.  Approximate age is between 1-2 years of age, weighs in around 50 lbs.  She does have some leash reactivity, which we are working on now with our volunteers and trainers.  She needs a slow intro with other dogs, and then she’s fine — and the play time is ON!  Interested in meeting Lucy Lu?  Submit your online adoption application from our website.  More info:  “info@lastchanceatlife.org”
