Maui is a sweet Boxer with the cutest underbite! Maui came to us when a Los Angeles shelter reached out for help. He presented there with an injured leg that appeared like he potentially was hit by a car. LCAL stepped in to care for him and assist with his medical needs before finding him his forever home.

Since arriving at LCAL Maui has settled nicely into his foster home. He had a fractured left femur (thigh bone in rear leg) which has undergone surgical repair. He is currently on activity restrictions and will be for several weeks until released by his surgeon.  He will be available for adoption after he has recovered in his medical foster home. We have had minimal opportunity to assess his behavior with other dogs due to his injury and surgery but the shelter he came from reported him to do well with other dogs.  We will update everyone as we get to know his Boxer personality more.
