This little girl is as sweet as she looks in her picture. Nika was left in a crate along the side of a road and it is impossible to figure out why. She is absolutely beautiful and so soft in her demeanor. She is slow to warm up to new people and doesn’t feel all that comfortable when away from her home. However, in “her home” with people she knows, she is just what everyone wants in a dog. She plays with her toys, hangs out on her bed, follows you when needed to make sure you complete your task and sleeps quietly in her crate at the end of the day. It will be important for her new family to help her in building her confidence and this will include not being “too cuddly” with her as she needs to learn to stand on her own four feet. She is already showing gains in this area though so we have no doubt that she will continue improving her self-confidence. Lastly, she is dog friendly and house-trained.
