Letter from the Board – Out with 2018, In with 2019! We want to start out this year by saying “THANK YOU” to all of our LCAL supporters and donors! It is because of you we were able to reach our 2018 Holiday Matching Fund goal of $20,000. The monies raised through this fundraiser will be used to help offset medical costs from 2018 as well as get us started down the road in 2019.
We would like to give a special shout out to two local businesses who came through big for Last Chance at Life. The owners of both of these businesses did weekend fundraisers for us, donating the proceeds to our Holiday Matching Fund! A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Insight Studios, located in Oceanside and Audrey Hicks Photography. Thank you, Bob and Audrey, for giving of your time and expertise.
Looking forward to 2019, we see lots of opportunities to continue growing the efforts we began in 2018. Recruiting and training more volunteers, improving our processes, making our adoption center more inviting and user friendly, growing the thrift store and ultimately…..saving more lives! Stay tuned and be on the lookout for our updates. We are excited to see what this next year brings and what lives we can positively impact, both human and dog : )
