You know the saying, “Go BIG or GO HOME”?  That’s what we think of when we see Cody.  He is 110 lbs of pure Labrador hunka-hunka burnin’ love!  We pulled Cody from Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter in Wildomar, California, after he was surrendered by his family.  The family reported that he was chasing their chickens, wasn’t good with cats, and that he had an old injury on his leg that they refused to fix.  Upon contacting the prior owner’s veterinarians, we learned that Cody was brought in in 2015 for a ruptured ACL, but the family never brought him back in for the repair.  We will have him seen by our orthopedic specialist to get an understanding of what we can do for him, if it’s possible to repair or improve what’s already done.  For now, he does walk with a limp.  He is only just over 2 years old, and he is good with other dogs and has been great with all of our volunteers at the adoption center.  He needs a family with a BIG heart for a BIG dog — is that you?  Contact ‘info@lastchanceatlife.org” for more info and details on when his medical evaluation will be scheduled.  To adopt, please submit an adoption application through our website.
