When we stopped in at the AFV shelter to pick up JD, we noticed he had a Terrier-blend buddy in his run with him. Milo was also an unclaimed stray, so we decided he should hitch a ride with us as well to continue his journey to a new forever home! We just couldn’t leave him in his dog run all alone as we pulled his buddy JD — no way! He was so scared, and it took him a day or so to warm up to us. But after his first night at the adoption center, he has really relaxed and learned to trust all the volunteers and handlers. We’re certain JD helped give him some confidence too! (Thanks, JD!) We estimate Milo’s age to be between 8-9 years young, and he has just completed his medical intake (neuter/lab work/vaccinations/de-wormer/dental review) …and he’s ready for adoption!
