Prim came to us as a stray after getting hit by a car and needing medical treatment for her wounds (no fractures, fortunately). She was also pregnant. She went directly into foster for healing, and a week later she gave birth to three puppies. Two male puppies crossed the rainbow bridge early in their young lives. Fly free, sweet Figaro and Galileo. A third female puppy, Maggie (Magnifico), is in foster with her mom and still nursing. She is already adopted, and will move into her forever home once she is 12 weeks old.
Prim is a great mom. She loves to play and do zoomies. She is not aware of her foot placement sometimes and can be a little physically goofy, but it is part of her charm. She is an active dog, and she gets along well with other dogs. With the right training, Prim will be the perfect dog. She walks well on a leash, is house trained, and is crate trained. She is a sweet dog overall and will make someone a great companion. We do not recommend she be rehomed with small dogs or small kids because of her energy level.
